About Us
Our family embarked in the horse business in 1996. Our daughter decided that showing horses was in her blood and just having fun with our horses was the mainstay for many years. It wasn’t until 2003 that the Friesian breed was introduced into our lives. Anyone that has experienced the magical Friesian horse can understand why we are so dedicated to this breed.
Since those early days we continuing to build our breeding program, providing the highest quality Friesian for pleasure, driving and dressage. We are very careful in the selection of the Friesian stallion that we choose for our Friesian mares. The goal for our breeding program is to match a mare with a stallion that will best compliment their conformation and movement, providing our customers with the best possible horse.
We pride ourselves on imprinting our foals at birth, developing manners, and basic training all before we sell a beautiful horse. The Friesian horse always wants to please their owner. They have a sweet docile character, willingness to work and are extremely intelligent. But let’s not forget their amazing floating trot and tons of beautiful hair!
We are proud members of FHANA and GLFHA. Our Dutch Friesian horses are FPS/FHANA registered. Our farm also includes many other breeds of horses as well.
Grandview Ranch Friesians is centrally located in the beautiful rolling hills of Rudolph, Wisconsin.
We welcome visitors to our Grandview Ranch by appointment to meet our beautiful horses. We ask that you either call or e-mail to schedule a date and time. We enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and sharing our love of this beautiful breed.
